Cachapuz offers bodyboard lessons

Mundos de Vida is a social institution based in Lousado, Vila Nova de Famalicão, for the elderly and children. In its solidarity component, Mundos de Vida protects and nurtures children coming from difficult realities receiving them temporarily in two centers: Casa das Andorinhas and Casa do Alto.

In 2006 it created a pioneering service in Portugal, the Specialized Foster Care Service thus becoming the first IPSS framing institution.

Every year the campaign “Hugs Wanted” is carried out in order to find a new generation of foster families, with the motto “the right of every child to grow up in a family”, providing to a child to grow up in a loving, secure, family environment.

In August 2013, Cachapuz had the pleasure to provide two days of full joy to 17 of this institution sheltered children, with a bodyboard class at the Guia beach, in Matosinhos, by the surf school Linha de Onda, and offering them beachballs and caps.
