AGRO 2016: Cachapuz, innovatively distinguished

AGRO took place between March 31st and April 3rd in Braga Exhibition Park, where Cachapuz has been participating for over three decades.

Installed in the main pavillion at stand C/D 8/9, Cachapuz was distinguished by one of the characteristics that best defines its long path: innovation.

A large space designed specifically to highlight its solutions for the weighing industry, many were those exhibited at the stand, such as medical scales, pallet loaders, amongst others. With special emphasis, the SELECTA was the equipment that drew more attention from the visitors seeking to understand its operating tools in place, as well as other distinguishing characteristics.

The goal of raising the quality, innovation and robustness of its solutions was successful since many visitors who passed by have spent more time observing and analyzing the present solutions.
One of the ´heavy’ moments of this edition was the usual presence of Mr. Ricardo Rio, Mayor of Braga, entity with which Cachapuz has been worked very actively, demonstrating its potential as a company that holds a ‘heavy’ history full of important and innovative milestones.

Like in the previous editions, Cachapuz has installed a weighing platform in the exhibition entrance that accounted for the cumulated weight of visitors who passed by. The cumulative total weight of this edition came close to 2.5 tonnes. This is further evidence that the AGRO is a reference event for the national agriculture and to the industry dynamics in the city of Braga.

“After it consolidation and affirmation, it is essential to continue to work for the growth of AGRO, contributing to the economic growth of the agricultural sector, which in 2015 grew by 6.3%,” said Mr. Carlos Humberto, administrator of InvestBraga (the organizing entity of AGRO).

Thus ends another edition that serves as the motto of the enormous value of the agricultural sector, Cachapuz has strengthened its position and reputation as a leader in its activity.
