Agro 2015: a trend-setting fair with Cachapuz’s quality seal
30 March, 2015
From March, the 26th till the 29th, the 48th edition of AGRO – Feira Internacional da Agricultura, Pecuária e Alimentação – (International Trade Fair for Agriculture, Livestock and Food) – took place at the Parque de Exposições in Braga. Cachapuz was there, as it is probably one of the companies that has been participating in this event for the longest time.
At the fair opening, the mayor of Braga Dr. Ricardo Rio was accompanied by the Secretary of Business and Cooperation – Dr. Luís Campos Ferreira – and by the Italian Ambassador in Portugal – Dr. Renato Varriale. It was a privilege for Cachapuz to welcome the Ambassador of Italy since this company from Braga belongs to the Italian group Bilanciai, fact that easily provided a great empathy between the parts. It was a joyful time in which the attendants admired ‘Cachapuz’ stand and even tried some of the equipment on display.
One of Cachapuz’s hallmarks at this event is the the well-known mascot Cachopa, In a typically agricultural scenery decorated with straw bales, a small tractor and an old wooden weighing scale, it quickly became the ideal setting for picture taking by the hundreds of people that passed by.
AGRO 2015 exceeded the goal of 100 thousand visitors, which corresponded to over 3 thousand tons of weight. This amount was accounted for by Cachapuz’s weighing platform located at the fair entrance, much like what has happened in previous editions.
Cachapuz was, undoubtedly, a “heavy weight” presence, reinforcing its positioning and notoriety as a leader in its sector. The interaction with the fair visitors was fantastic, highlighting the differentiation and innovation of the services and solutions provided by Cachapuz.
