UH4SP, an intelligent system reported on the 9th IEEE TEMS in Madeira

On September, the 25th, Nuno Santos, a researcher at CCG participated in the 9th IEEE TEMS International Conference on Intelligent Systems (IS’18) (https://www.ieee-is2018.com/) held from 25th till the 27th September in Funchal, Portugal, an important scientific communication event on research projects in the intelligent systems area.
A presentation on the UH4SP project, entitled “UH4SP: a software platform for integrated management of connected smart plants“, was organized within the session “RS1.8 Factories of the Future: Intelligent Systems in Engineering, Technologies and Innovations“. This presentation’s aim was to communicate the results already obtained with the project, namely its contribution to the Industry 4.0 paradigm, focusing on the aspects of cloud computing architecture, micro-services technology, corporate view of production, remote production analysis, tools for collaborative processes, among others.
The UH4SP project is led by Cachapuz in co-promotion with the Department of Production and Systems of the University of Minho, the Association C.C.G./Z.G.D.V. – Computer Graphics Center, and Eurotux Informática.
