Mobility
SPAR Mobility is a software module that runs on portable devices such as PDA, Pocket PC or Smartphones (with Windows Mobile) and which allows teams in the field to register all information related to the recycling/waste collection bin maintenance and collection processes.
Each work team is supplied with a PDA, which allows the area manager to send all the information that he/she has planned for the team through the SPAR BackOffice module, via Wi-Fi. All planned circuits (and respective recycling/waste collection bins) can be verified on the PDA and all the information inherent to the process can be registered on it. All the input data is sent to SPAR BackOffice at the end of the shift, and it becomes immediately available for consultation.
Collection Circuits:
- Information on the recycling points/waste collection bins to be visited
- Input of collection-related information (fill level, hygiene status, faults, observations, etc.)
- Filtering of recycling points by circuit, district, municipality and parish
- Filtering of recycling points by geographical proximity (via GPS)
- Register of hours (automatic) and kilometres
- Automatic/manual register of weights
- Register of filling fuel tank
- Automatic register of geographical coordinates (paths)
Maintenance Circuits:
- Information of recycling points to repair/clean
- Input of maintenance-related information (operations performed, faults, observations, etc.)
- Register of hours (automatic) and kilometres
- Register of materials spent in interventions (water, cleaning products, etc.)
- Automatic register of geographical coordinates (paths)
The work performed can be subsequently checked if the teams in the field use SPAR Mobility. PDAs equipped with GPS antennae register the time and geographic coordinates (at pre-defined time intervals), which allows the path taken by the team to be analysed at a later date and any possible deviations from the planned route can be observed.
