Automatic Weighing

In case of necessity to confer security and additional control to the weighing operations, SPA can be complemented with automatic weighing kiosks that provide the correct conclusion of any weighing operation without the need of intervention from an operator.

The system way of functioning consists of the programming of cards with information relative, among others, to the entity (customer/supplier), type of operation (load/unload), product and license plate that endow the vehicle drivers with the capacity to perform the weighing operations in an autonomous way.

The automatic kiosks may, additionally, control the following peripherals:

• Traffic light: equipment that allows the indication of the permission to enter or exit the weighing platform;
• Traffic barrier: equipment that allows to prevent the access or exit the facilities by unauthorized vehicles;
• Voice intercom: equipment that allows to contact with a responsible person in case of damages or difficulties in weighing operations;
• Card collection mechanism: mechanism that allows the collection of the identification cards after the conclusion of a weighing transaction;
• Positioning system: equipment that includes ultrasound or infra-red ray sensors, that guarantees the correct positioning of a vehicle at the moment of the weighing operation;
• Industrial thermal printer: thermal printer with coil of 112mm of width and 200mm of diameter allowing great functioning autonomy and document impression with complex layouts.
