The A Flu is a respiratory disease transmittable among human beings through direct contact, namely by the droplets expelled when a person speaks, coughs or sneezes. The infection may also occur indirectly when there is contact with droplets or other secretions from the nose and throat of an infected person, existent in surfaces of direct contact such as doorknobs and all surfaces of public usage, etc.

Regarding the incubation period, which is the interval of time between the moment of infection and the appearance of the first symptoms, it may vary between 1 and 7 days, being this the period of possible transmission between people. We highlight that there is also the possibility of transmission during all the time that the symptoms are present.
