Cachapuz is one of the Bilanciai Group’s five production units (Italy, United Kingdom, United States, Algeria and Portugal). It is structured to manufacture 300 truck weighbridges and 800 weighing platforms for other purposes per year. Cachapuz is capable of producing cutting edge, solid, precise, efficient and reliable solutions to all industrial weighing requirements.

The manufacturing section is composed of a hugely experienced, highly-qualified team, enhanced by a programme of ongoing training.  Cachapuz has invested in robotisation of the entire manufacturing layout, to assure it keeps abreast of technological development. This fact guarantees that Cachapuz currently possesses the sector’s most advanced production means.

The successive investments in production means and human resources give us a design and development structure that is constantly evolving, researching, innovating and developing hardware solutions (mechanical, electrical or electronic), providing a response to all market requirements and for any production activity connected to weighing.

The Production Department cooperates in the design of new weighing equipment within the Bilanciai Group, which is then manufactured in standard format by the Group’s manufacturing plants and marketed by all group companies.
